Welcome to Zensylvania.
The Zensylpedia is a collection of inter-connected text documents which serve as a resource or knowledge base for Zensylvania’s exploration of Motorcycle Zen; it is the motorcycle zen encyclopedia that only Eric can edit (which kind of makes it an “Eric-ipedia”).
Given that Eric does not claim to be an expert in anything at all, content on Zensylvania should be viewed as entertainment only…and any articles or information should therefore be considered valid exclusively within the speculative environment called Zensylvania. Some of the things we explore in Zensylvania include motorcycle zen, literature and philosophy.
A new Zensylvania Podcast episode is released each month. Episodes include readings of classic philosophy and literature as well as new, original essays and short stories exploring motorcycle zen, philosophy, literature and a variety of other topics. You can listen and subscribe to the podcast on a variety of platforms:

References & Notes
- Eric has been interested in designing and writing a subjective Wikipedia-styled information base for several years. This ambition was probably inspired jointly by Don Acheson’s “An Irish History of Civilization” and Will & Ariel Durant’s “The Story of Philosophy” and “The Story of Civilization”. Unlike formal academics, I am not constrained by academic standards and so I don’t mind celebrating “common knowledge” (a la Wikipedia) as well as my own human-all-too-human subjectivity. So we’ll see just how far I get with this aspect of the project.
